Nihao Leo provides travel information and digital products for people planning trips to China, including a free email guide (China Survival Cheat Sheet), a paid Notion playbook (The Living China Guide), and a paid pre-trip setup and itinerary review service (China Setup & Itinerary Review).

Not professional advice

Our content is based on personal experience and on-the-ground research. It is for general information only — not legal, immigration, medical, financial, or safety advice. Travel rules, apps, and policies change quickly. Always verify critical details with official sources before you travel.

Email signup and newsletter

• You must provide a valid email address to receive the free guide or subscribe to updates.
• By submitting your email, you consent to receiving the free guide and related communications, and you agree to our Privacy Policy.
• Our signup form is provided by Beehiiv. Beehiiv processes your email address on our behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.
• You agree not to abuse the signup form or use automated tools to submit fake or bulk addresses.
• We may change, pause, or discontinue the free guide or newsletter at any time.

Paid products

• The Living China Guide is a digital Notion resource. After purchase, you receive access at the link we provide, including lifetime updates to that resource.
• China Setup & Itinerary Review is an async pre-trip email service. You submit your draft route and setup details, then receive a written review within 72 hours of submission (not from payment alone). It is not real-time emergency support.
• Prices are shown on the site at checkout. All sales are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day, no-questions-asked refund on The Living China Guide and China Setup & Itinerary Review. Email hello@nihaoleo.com within 7 days of purchase. For the review service, if we cannot deliver within 72 hours of receiving your completed submission, you are entitled to a full refund.

Intellectual property

All content on https://nihaoleo.com — text, guides, templates, images, and branding — belongs to Nihao Leo unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or publicly share our paid materials. Personal use for your own trip planning is what we intend.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose or to harm others.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the site or its third-party integrations.
• Do not share paid product access links publicly or with large groups. We may revoke access if we detect abuse, piracy, or bad-faith chargebacks.

Third-party links and services

The site links to third-party services (Beehiiv, Lemon Squeezy, social platforms, and others). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and all content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information will always be current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nihao Leo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products — including travel disruptions, booking errors, or reliance on our tips. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. We prefer to resolve any issues by email first — contact us before taking formal action.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The last-updated date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new Terms.
